EXCELLENCE EXPLORED
WRITER FOR PRINT PUBLICATION
_Feature writing
The Institute of Service Excellence put out an annual publication, Excellence Explored, featuring stories and insights of entrepreneurs.
For its third edition, I spoke to eight entrepreneurs in various industries including arts and entertainment, sustainability, and technology, on their motivations for starting their businesses, and their approaches to service excellence — both within their teams and toward their customers.
In writing the features as well as their respective titles and introductions, I made sure to consider story flow and offer holistic context.
This project also involved prior research and question-making, both of which I enjoy. I have learnt that it takes creativity to ask good questions, and empathy to ask the right (and important) questions. I aim to do both in my conversations.
